Only Ordinary Passport holders may apply for e-visa application online.
(a) Diplomatic/Official/Service Passport:

There is a visa exemption under bilateral agreements with India for delegates from some countries holding Diplomatic/Official/Service passports. Further information on visa waiver agreements for Official/Service and Diplomatic passport holders can be accessed at https://www.mea.gov.in/bvwa-menu.htm.

Other delegates holding Diplomatic/Official/Service passports may apply as details provided in section (d).
(b) Ordinary Passport:

There is a provision for delegates from some countries holding Ordinary Passport to fill online application (e-visa) form through https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html. For that purpose, the Competent Authority/HOD/Contact Administrator should send an email including the Full Names (as mentioned in the Passport) and Passport Numbers of their delegation members to HCS at atcm-46@gov.in to obtain an Invitation letter and clearances from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Ministry of External Affairs.

Delegates from other countries holding ordinary passports may apply as details provided in section (d).
(c) Japan and South Korea
For Japan and South Korea visa on arrival may be obtained and further details can be accessed at
https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/visa-on-arrival.html.
(d) Other Delegates
Those delegates who do not come under the categories (a) (b), and (c) mentioned above may apply for a regular visa through Indian Missions in their countries as soon as possible, and further details can be accessed through https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html.
For that purpose, the Competent Authority/HOD/Contact Administrator should send an email including the Full Names (as mentioned in the Passport) and Passport Numbers of their delegation members to HCS at atcm-46@gov.in to obtain an Invitation letter and clearances from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Ministry of External Affairs.
HEALTH ADVISORY:
It is advisable to ensure that you have received the following vaccinations: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Cholera, Yellow Fever, Japanese Encephalitis, Rabies, Polio, and Tetanus. Please note that a yellow fever vaccination is compulsory for travelers originating from countries with a high risk of yellow fever transmission.
If you are arriving from any of the following countries, you will be required to present a yellow fever vaccination certificate upon entry:
From Africa: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Côte dʼIvoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, South Sudan, Togo, and Uganda.
From Americas: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago (Trinidad only), and Venezuela (the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela).
